Yes. Under extreme pressure a steel cylinder can fragment — that's what makes it dangerous. A composite cylinder is engineered to vent gas safely instead of bursting. It also never rusts, so it doesn't weaken with age the way steel does.
Cylinders and regulators are available in both 20mm and 22mm valve sizes. There is nothing to configure — we always send a regulator that matches your cylinder size.

The cylinder itself has a service life of around ten years. A 10kg fill typically runs a family kitchen for several weeks of daily cooking.
Any licensed LPG refilling point can refill a BGC cylinder — the valve sizes are the same standard ones used across Pakistan. Your usual gas shop will handle it exactly like any other cylinder.
